“HEALTH SHOULDN’T BE HARD”
Jan 24, 2025 | 2:32 PM
The community is invited to Red Deer’s Healthy Living Expo, a showcase of health and fitness, personal and family care, and even pet care professionals in the region.
The event runs on Jan. 25 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Harvest Centre at Westerner Park and all ages are welcome. The Alberta Sports Hall of Fame will also be hosting an interactive kids play zone for the children in attendance.
“Health shouldn’t be hard. If you have questions, you should ask them to figure out the best part of your journey so that you can do the best things for you and your life,” says Rayna Heinzlmeir, director of the expo. “Between all the different things with healthcare, health and fitness, things you can do in your home, personal care, food — it’s a really neat way to get healthy, make our community healthier, and for people to have easy access to that.”
The interactive exhibit also has plenty of door prizes up for grabs, plus cash and other prizes for the winners of a plank challenge, headstand challenge and hula hoop challenge, set to take place on the main stage along with other demonstrations.
